Easter Treatsies!

Cadbury Creme Egg Cups! :)

So yesterday I attempted to make this delicious looking homemade version of one of my favourite Easter treats: http://www.instructables.com/id/Homemade-Cadbury-Creme-Eggs/
too bad my attempt failed, and turned out to be more Creme Puddle than Creme Egg...

In the comments I found that somebody had put the ingredients into cupcake liners instead, so I tried this and it worked deliciously! (As pictured above) I highly recommend the recipe. :)

On my first attempt at melting the chocolate, it ended up too thick to dip my eggs in, so I had the BRILLIANT idea that adding milk to the hot mixture would liquify it more. Boy, was I wrong... It actually managed to thicken it! Wowza, wasnt expecting that one... (before you say anything, please know tha
ted with this... haha)

Instead of throwing out this thickened chocolatey goodness, I decided to make something else out of it. I thought about adding different things before I decided to make these bite-sized Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls!
Look like dog food.
But really are scrumptious!

Would you like to make some of these yummy treats? The recipe is really simple.

Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls :)

Chocolate Chips, or melting chocolate (however much you want to make)
A scoop of butter
A splash of milk
Rice Krispies (however much you think is needed to make them sufficiently crunchy)

1. Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler.
2. Add the milk and stir to combine
3. Stir in the Rice Krispies
4. Form into small, bite-sized balls
5. Stick in the freezer or fridge until hardened
6. Enjoy!!! :)

YUMMAYYY. I hope you enjoy these treats and that you have a very Happy Easter!!!!
